In Spring 2024, Aargau Verkehr AG (AVA) tested our innovative ATWS, the RAILALERT, on their network. At the beginning of the trial period, the maintenance staff were comprehensively trained by our FRIKE team. They were then able to independently use the RAILALERT during maintenance work.
The goal of the test deployment was to evaluate the automatic train warning system under real conditions and gather feedback on the specific needs of the users.
The trial confirmed that the RAILALERT is an intuitive and safe warning system that can be installed in just a few simple steps and does not require heavy equipment. In short: Workplace safety does not need to be complicated. AVA was able to experience this firsthand through the practical deployment.
Benedikt Hunn Standortleiter Bahndienst Ost AVA
