What is Schick electronic SA specialized in?
Schick SA: We specialize in traffic and mobility management solutions. In particular, we develop, install, and rent out parking guidance systems, temporary signalling equipment, and traffic lights for traffic control, especially in roadwork areas.
You are best known for your parking guidance systems. How do traffic signal systems fit into your portfolio?
Traffic signal systems are the perfect complement to our portfolio. While parking guidance systems optimize traffic flow within car parks, traffic signal systems enable us to manage traffic upstream, particularly on roads and in construction areas. This allows us to offer comprehensive mobility solutions that are coordinated with each other and tailored to the specific needs of municipalities and businesses.

Our customers mainly include public authorities (municipalities and cantons), construction companies, engineering firms, and companies operating in the field of road infrastructure. We also work with event organizers who require temporary traffic management solutions.
Our systems are used on numerous road construction sites, particularly on cantonal and municipal roads in Western Switzerland. They are also deployed for major infrastructure projects, such as road renovations, work in urban environments, or areas with alternating traffic flows. Thanks to their flexibility, they can be used in a wide variety of situations.
What are the advantages of traffic signal systems compared with the use of traffic marshals?
Traffic signal systems offer several advantages: they ensure continuous, reliable, and safe traffic control, regardless of weather conditions or human fatigue. In addition, precise programming allows traffic flow to be optimized.

Our organization is built around an experienced technical team that is available around the clock thanks to an on-call service. We have established efficient internal processes and maintain sufficient equipment stock to respond quickly to requests, even outside normal business hours.
