Project description
In the canton of Schaffhausen, at Schweizersbild, we carried out the first-ever European installation of the CENTRA 610-100 crash cushion. Thanks to our innovative Pick & Place solution — where the pre-assembly of the crash cushion on the prefabricated concrete foundation was completed by the foundation manufacturer — the actual installation time on-site was reduced to just a few minutes
This efficient assembly process allowed for the heavily trafficked road to be closed for only a short time, minimizing the impact on traffic flow.
The CENTRA 610-100 crash cushion offers versatile installation options: it can be mounted on a cast-in-place concrete foundation, a prefabricated foundation, or directly on the asphalt.
With this innovative technology, we achieve the highest level of efficiency in installation — a smart solution for modern infrastructure projects.
